Discover the forest of Zanzibar, the only national park in the islands with 50 km2. This park is blessed with a wealth of large natural trees, various plants and even different types of palm trees (flora and fauna), some of which produce beautiful flowers with a pleasant smell that is sometimes used as a perfume. The most amazing thing about this forest is that it is the only forest in the world with more than 1000 unique monkeys called Red Colobus Monkeys. There are other species too, with more than 3000 monkeys filling the forest. Not only that, but you can also expect to spot other animals and insects, such as bush babies, elephant shrews, rats, mouse, African giant millipedes, snails, centipedes, land crabs, and variety of butterflies and birds. You will also be able to see large mangrove forest accessed by beautiful wooden bridge, and below it there are rivers that carry the water of the Indian Ocean from one place to another with small fish and crabs.

Zanzibar is one of the richest islands due to the traditions, customs, and cultures that continue to be practiced by the natives of Zanzibar. This tour will start at one of the oldest local schools in Zanzibar’s south region in the village of Muyuni. You will be told the interesting history of the school and witness the old education system, which is difficult to find elsewhere. You will also be able to join the children of that school to sing and play with them, and, if you have enough budget, you can give gifts like books, pencils, pens and others. After visiting the school, we will visit the village of Muyuni, where we will join the native people who still maintain the traditions, culture, and customs of Zanzibar. You will have time to interact with them and explore more about their life. The most interesting thing is that we will enter a cave that is built in nature with natural gems and mysterious tunnels. The cave is surrounded by great darkness, section is the home of hundreds of bats. On the other side of the cave, you will witness the healing culture of Zanzibar. Here, healers play drums and clap or beat sticks to create a powerful healing sound, the spiritual songs and dances of Zanzibar heal the patient believed haunted by spirits and ghosts. After the Voodoo experience, you will go around the village, where you will see various activities going on, such as making traditional ropes using coconut husk fibers, sewing traditional baskets, weaving coconut leaves and traditional mat weaving.
